Hualong One: An indigenous 3rd generation nuclear technology of China for a safer application of nuclear energy

| Speaker: | Mr ZHENG Hua is a Deputy Chief Engineer of the Engineering Research & Development Department of China Nuclear Power Engineering Company and a Deputy Chief Designer of the Fangchenggang Nuclear Power Station Phase 2 project. He has a wealth of experience in general nuclear power plant design and safety assessment. He has led or participated in CPR1000 general design, and safety analysis report preparation and assessment of CPR1000 nuclear power projects including Ling Ao Phase 2 and of Taishan. He has joined the core design team of Hualong One since 2010 and participated in its R&D and general design. His current activities include mainly project R&D for nuclear engineering applications and nuclear island design for the Fangchenggang Nuclear Power Station Phase 2 project. |
