| Content: | Mr. Magwood, the Director General of the Paris-based Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA), a multilateral agency with 33 member countries representing the most advanced nuclear safety, science, and technology infrastructures in the world, will review his impressions of the most important lessons from Fukushima Daiichi and other nuclear disasters and what these lessons tell us about nuclear energy and its future as a major energy source in the long-term future. He will consider the role nuclear energy can play in the longer term future and what steps are needed to assure a future with clean, reliable energy. |
